Junk Food To Combat COVID Stress
The weight gain and bad habits we picked up since 2019 is serious. Can’t speak to men and weight gain, but can share what women are experiencing. The human emotional experiment that we felt was stressful when stay-at-home orders hit the office. This prompted us to hoard some groceries, but we also grabbed those snacks off the shelf to feel some type of comfort. We were making homemade cookies, brownies and cakes because if felt good. Eating my signature meat sauce and pasta with extra cheese was my go to before going to bed. Since gyms had closed down I wasn’t exercising, like most people. But when the gyms did open back up, I wasn’t going into that environment.
Whoever didn’t gain weight during the pandemic, good for you. Fitting back into those pre-pandemic clothes is tough now that we’re in 2022. The toxicity on the news for the past 2 years did affect us. The unhealthy foods we consumed has now settled in the tummy and hips.
