Over Hyped
A Garth Brooks show lives up to the hype.
The first taste of an ice cold beer on the hottest day of summer, lives up to the hype.
Shaving DOES NOT live up to the hype.
Nor does mowing the lawn.
And, based on yesterday in Charlotte, neither does an eclipse. Now, before you go freaking out, the footage from Oregon, Wyoming and even South Carolina was SPECTACULAR. However, with the way local TV built this thing up, you’d have thought we in the downtown Charlotte area would have been bathed in pitch-black darkness for hours!
In reality, it looked like almost dusk at 2 in the afternoon.
Epic fail.
What else have you experienced that didn’t live up to the hype?
