BLOWN AWAY On “The Voice”
We said before, the “Blind Auditions” are the best part of “The Voice.” There are moments that occur during these that I wonder what it was like to be a coach and feel the electricity of an incredible performance you’re only hearing.
Case in point?
Andrew Sevener. He’s 22 from a middle-of-nowhere town in Texas. By day, he’s a motor home technician/mobile home specialist. By night, he’s playing up to 7 nights a week-chasing his dreams.
Well last night, he did more than chase it…he brought it home!
So much of success on these shows is song choice and Sevener chose wisely completely killing the Rolling Stones “Honky Tonk Women.”
It was awesome. The only one who turned, however, was Shelton.
Kelly Clarkson’s explanation for not turning was best, “I’m tired of country artists just laughing in my face and choosing Blake.”
Haha.
Oh well, those other judges may rue the day they didn’t try, cuz this guy is GREAT!
