Dishin’ With Debbie-Funeral Sandwiches
These little sandwiches are super easy and delicious, and they can be made to feed a crowd.
I guess that’s how they got the unusual nickname! They’re also great for a tailgating or any party with friends and family. Trust me…you need these!
Ingredients:
12 slices of your favorite deli ham
3 slices swiss cheese, cut into 4 squares each to make 12 slices
12 dinner rolls, I used Hawaiian rolls
1 T butter
1/4 brown sugar
2 T Dijon mustard
1 T Worcestershire
1 tsp. onion powder
Directions:
Mix butter and sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring to combine. Slice rolls in half crosswise and removes the top layer. Brush insides with sauce. Assemble sandwiches with layers of ham and cheese. Replace the tops of rolls. Brush remaining sauce over an outer surface of the bread. Cover and refrigerate for several hours, up to 24. Remove and place in an oven preheated to 350. Bake, covered with foil for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
