Post-Op Debbie…Too Funny
I’m not sure how your day went yesterday, but Debbie’s was not too much fun at all. She’d been putting off having a small surgical procedure done for a while, and Monday was the day (finally).
It took less than 20 minutes, but did require her to be knocked out by anesthesia. This kind of worried me, as her mother, historically, did not respond to this very well.
Anyway, when the nurse called us back to get her post-op, she was REALLY woozy and wearing what appeared to be a red, duct tape-like bandage on her right hand (where here IV had been).
Then SHE decided she had a message
Not sure what , “Warrior for the red team, fight!” meant in her mind, but I’m so grateful she chose to capture the moment for all of us to interpret.
