Alex Trebek Chokes Up On Jeopardy
Alex Trebek is losing his battle with Pancreatic Cancer….everyone does. It is an agressive and undefeated form of the disease. You may be able to hold it at bay, but eventually it will get you.
Those that fight it are as brave as any people you’ll meet. I know. One of my best friend’s wife is waging war with it right now, and don’t have as much respect for anyone else.
Anyway, Trebek has announced he’s going back into retirement as the treatment for his cancer and the demands of hosting Jeopardy have become too much.
This week, he’s officiating the “Tournament of Champions,” and was openly touched by a wrong answer in “Final Jeopardy” on Monday night.
Indeed. We all love you Alex. And regardless of what we’re “left with” in our account, we are all richer for having been entertained by you for all these years.
