Entire Cast Of “Days Of Our Lives” Fired
Then there’s that ironic moment when you’re an actor on “Days of Our Lives,” and find out just how numbered those days are.
The venerable soap opera (and one of the last on television) is currently wrapping up season number 54 and the entire cast just got their walking papers.
ALL have been released from their contracts…meaning they’re all free to get new jobs.
Now, this DOESN’T necessarily mean the show’s definitely sunk. NBC is expected to decide in early 2020 whether to bring it back for another season.
And if you’re a “Days” fan, don’t panic. The soap shoots 8 months in advance, and there’s going to be enough episodes in the bank when the show halts production at the end of November to last through Summer 2020.
Still…this could be a huge, sad moment in television on the horizon.
