“Mulan” Comes To Life

Let me preface this by saying, I’ve NEVER been to see any of Disney’s new, live-action, versions of their animated classics.
It just seems like greed to me. You’ve got a company with the most creative people on the planet…let them create something new and original.
I know, that’s just me.
Anyway, it’s been 21 years since Disney’s “Mulan” premiered. At the time it was groundbreaking. It featured an Asian heroine and themes, and it was unknown if it would be accepted by their animated fan base. Well, of course it was a huge it.
I never saw it.
The live-action version is set to hit theaters in 2020.
I’m GOING to see this.
I’ve never been to the far east and am fascinated by its vistas and culture. Neither of which, I feel could have possibly been captured correctly by animation.
This film looks STUNNING (it was shot on location in China for much of the production).
Mulan is set to open in theaters on March 27.
