And guess what, if you did this…people would show up to work on Monday. This Monday, with the game again on Sunday, more Than 17 million people are planning to skip.
According to Workforce Institute this is the highest number since the think tank started asking 15 years ago.
Crunching the “2020 Super Bowl Fever Survey” numbers:
-11 million have already asked for the time off
-4.7 million will likely call in sick
-1.5 million say they just won’t show up.
The report also notes 8 million will decide whether to go in on Sunday night.
Okay, NFL…so if you won’t move it to Saturday, why can’t we just introduce legislation making Monday a national holiday?
