Senior Shoutouts-Sarah Sharman
Doing these Senior Shoutouts has really opened my eyes to how truly great The Class of 2020 is. It is full of accomplishment and potential that is awe-inspiring. Another amazing member of this class is Sarah Sharman, a Senior at Sun Valley High School.
She has always been very active in school and spent the first half of her senior year as captain of the drum line for the marching band. Sarah is also President of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta (the honor society for math), as well as holding the office of Vice President of the National Beta Club and Band Council. Additionally, she is the Communication Director of the Inter Club Council. Sarah is also a member of the school’s dive team.
In her spare time, she likes to play sand volleyball and volunteers at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. Sarah is a youth leader for our church’s youth retreat called TEC, and is currently taking an EMT class.
In the fall, she will be attending East Carolina after receiving a scholarship and admission into the Honors program to study Biomedical Engineering on her road to be a Trauma Surgeon.
I’m out of breath just writing this. WOW! Sarah, we are blown away by your accomplishments and cannot wait to see the mark you leave on the world going forward.
So, SHOUTOUT TO SARAH SHARMAN, SUN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2020!
