Senior Shoutouts-Carleigh Stroud
We were just driving past Buford High School on the way to the beach last week and I thought, “You know, it’s been a while since we had a Senior Shoutout from here.” Well, here we go shining our spotlight on Carleigh Stroud.
Carleigh has been a cheerleader for Buford since elementary school. But, when she got to the 9th grade, she tried out for varsity and there, she came out of her shell, learned To stand up for herself, and became a fantastic leader for her team.
She also excels in anything she puts her mind to. Her grades have been phenomenal since her first moments in a classroom and has kept her GPA up (in the last couple of years) even when her workload began to include some college courses.
Carleigh has a medallion Award for having a 4.0 gpa, is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club. She will be attending The University of South Carolina Lancaster, where she plans on majoring in psychology. Her plans are to become a Counselor.
Carleigh, congratulations on all you’ve achieved and all that’s still to be.
