The Best Bond Ever
There are several debates in our home between our son and me (Charlie) that will never end. One? “Who is the best Batman ever?”
For me, it’s a tossup between the Batman of my youth (Adam West) and the latest to play the character (Ben Affleck). For my son? It’s a tossup between the voice of the animated Batman series (Kevin Conroy) and the man who portrayed the Caped Crusader in the “Dark Knight Trilogy” (Christian Bale).
We will never agree. And the dispute rages.
Another bone of contention between us? “Who is the best James Bond?”
For me, I’ve always been partial to the man who only played the character once in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” (George Lazenby). For Hogan? It’s not even a discussion: the latest 007 (Daniel Craig)-closely followed by a man who played the world famous secret agent 4 times in the 90s and early 2000s (Pierce Brosnan).
However, when it comes to this disagreement, we both stand in opposition to this last poll in the UK that finds the movie character’s originator, Sean Connery, as the best of all-time.
