Carolina Hurricanes Will Open Up 2021 Against the Red Wings
Ready to see your favorite team hit the ice again? If you are a hockey fan (cough cough me) and love the Carolina Hurricanes, you will be happy to know that they open up the 2021 season in Detroit against the Red Wings this Thursday. The game starts at 7:30 pm sharp but the stadium will look different from the usual.
The NHL Players’ Association announced that there will be a 56-game season, set to start January 13th, 2021 but teams will only play against other teams in their division. As far as fans go, most teams will not allow patrons in the stadium stands. The Carolina Hurricanes are one of the many NHL teams that will not allow fans during the games. (see more here)
Hopefully, this game will be a win and a great start to the 2021 hockey season! You can see more on the season games here.
