How To Win Back-To-Back Super Bowl Rings And Never Play A Down
Let me say off the bat that this is in NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM an indictment against LeSean McCoy or his contributions to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (or Kansas City Chiefs for that matter).
And you can bet his teammates sing his praises.
It doesn’t change the fact that “Shady” McCoy is now one of the most interesting answers to a Super Bowl trivia question of all time.
LeSean McCoy just won back-to-back rings without playing a single snap in either #SuperBowl. Shoutout to Shady. 🦅🦅 pic.twitter.com/ZPOgCesdK9

LeSean has had a great career in the NFL, however in 2019 it was beginning to wind down, so he went in search of a championship. That search led to Kansas City. He rushed for 465 yards and 4 touchdowns (FAR lower than the numbers he generated in his prime with the Philadelphia Eagles) and won a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs. However, he never got in the game.
This year he signed on with Tampa Bay. He only carried the ball 10 times all season. He was inactive (but still on the team’s roster) for this year’s Super Bowl, but still collected his second championship ring in two years.
And for those that would say he didn’t “earn” his ring this year? Why not check out what Super Bowl star, Tampa Bay RB Leonard Fournette had to say to just such an implication.
I disagree for someone with his resume to be a mentor too guys like myself and the rest of the running backs I’ll say he played a big role in our room, he has been cut before like me, he taught me how to handle that situation God put him on the bucs for a reason... @CutonDime25 https://t.co/zvPANawvjD
