“The Talk” Going On Hiatus During Racist Inquiry
Full disclosure, I’ve never watched ONE SECOND of “The Talk.” I’ve had enough minutes of my life that I will never get back watching “The View.” I’m a guy, and let’s be honest, these shows aren’t designed to appeal to me.
That being said, I LOVE a good controversy and there is a big one brewing between co-hosts Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. On March 10th Osbourne (who I have always liked btw-truly candid people like her are hard to come by in the entertainment industry) supported her friend Piers Morgan after his controversial comments regarding Meghan Markle on his show, “Good Morning, Britain.” Morgan slammed Meghan’s interview with Oprah and her comment regarding the royal family saying during the morning telecast, “I wouldn’t believe her if she read me a weather report, and the fact that she’s fired up this onslaught against our royal family, I think is contemptible.”
Here’s the exchange between the two hosts

CBS has now put the show on hiatus as it conducts a “racist inquiry.” I guess I’m just not sensitive enough. I seen two adults having a grown-up discussion and exchange. They are not agreeing, but they are not being violent or “racist” toward each other.
Am I wrong? Am I missing something here?
Just because you have a difference of opinion between people of different races, that’s not racist, right? If someone doesn’t “like” someone of a different race-for something other than race-that’s not racist either, right? I mean, some people just don’t get along. Or, has the definition of racism been altered and I missed the memo?
If so, please educated me now.
