North Carolina Man Wins Big After Only Buying A $5 Lottery Ticket
I wish I am Richard right about now. Why? Because he is one lucky North Carolina resident. Richard Bryant, of Riegelwood, bought a $5 scratch-off ticket and won $250,000, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.
The magic happened when Bryant stopped at the Scotchman on Old Stage Road in Riegelwood, North Carolina. During his visit, he bought a 20X The Cash ticket. Once he scratched off his ticket, he was shocked to see he revealed the top prize.
Rich won the $250,000 and claimed his prize on Tuesday. According to Fox8, he took home $176,876 after required federal and state tax withholdings. Way to go!
