Walmart Pulls Cussing Cactus “Educational” Toy
Once upon a time there was a sweet ol grandma who wanted to get her granddaughter an educational toy for Christmas. So, she went online and purchased a singing, dancing, cactus from Walmart. It sings and talks in English, Spanish, and Polish. And that’s the rub. You see, grandma is Polish. And when she heard the words being sung in her native tongue…she was mortified!
The cactus uses a Polish rap song that uses curse words, talks about cocaine use and depression-not exactly the kind of happy-go-lucky kids fare you wish for your little ones. Walmart has since pulled the toy and apparently the Polish rapper is suing the Chinese manufacturer for unlicensed use of his song.
