6 Former Navy Seals Running For Congress With Common Goal
Regardless of what side of the aisle you identify with politically, I hope we all can agree that our Navy Seals are perhaps the finest examples of America’s might and patriotism. I personally have two friends from my life who served with “the teams” and I’m embarrassed when I’m around them because I haven’t done more for this great country to complement their efforts. Navy Seals swear a blood oath to defend the nation. Apparently, this does not end with retirement as these 6 heroes have set their sights on taking residence in the halls of Congress in November’s mid-term elections.
The six former Seals and where they are running? Eli Crane is running in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District; Brady Duke in Florida’s 7th Congressional District; Ed Thelander in Maine’s 1st Congressional District; Ryan Zinke in Montana’s 1st Congressional District; Morgan Luttrell, in Texas’ 8th Congressional District; and Derrick Van Orden in Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District. And judging by this message, they have recognized a common mission: unseating the Speaker of the House. No one can accuse them of subtlety. <g>
