Strange Prehistoric Fish Washes Up On Local Beach
This is one strange prehistoric fish. I believe there is many strange fish living in the deep seas that we don’t know about. On Monday, a prehistoric-looking fish washed up on the shore of a local beach.
The fish was found by a man who then posted pictures online asking for help in identifying it. It was about 5 feet long and hanging out of the water. An article in the Boston Globe reported that the fish was stranded on the sand with a rope wrapped around its tail. The man dragged it back into the water because it was still alive.
The fish appeared to be a sturgeon. He reported it to the state Department of Conservation and Recreation, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. According to the WWF, sturgeons are among the world’s most endangered species, according to the Reddit community. I am impressed by the man’s ability to drag it into the ocean. It would have terrified me to see such an enormous fish. Although I love the ocean, I’m not a big fan of sea life.
