Food Of The Cabarrus County Fair-Funnel Cakes And Fried Oreos
The second week in September has meant only one thing in our professional lives for the last 17 years: The Cabarrus County Fair. With the exception of 2020 and 2021 (there was no fair due to the Covid-19 Pandemic), we have always done our show for an afternoon at the fair. This year, we decided to do something a little different and instead take you inside our favorite part of the fair…the food! We start with Rob Ramsey. All the years that we did the live broadcast, his truck was right across from us and he never failed to set us up with all the funnel cakes, elephant ears, and fried Oreos, fried candy bars, fried ______, that we could handle. As we say early on in the video below, we shouldn’t play favorites, but Rob and his expertise is my jam!
