The Best Place To Enjoy Jazz For Free in Charlotte, North Carolina
My husband and I had a big night out in uptown Charlotte a few days ago when we made a huge discovery. We found the best place to enjoy jazz for free in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We were uptown for another concert with our friends and my co workers Charlie and Debbie at Spectrum arena, and ventured back to our hotel afterwards. We thought the night was over. Oh no. We walked into the lobby of the Ritz Carlton to one of the best parties I have ever been to.
What is going on in here?, I asked my husband. I mean the lobby was jumpin’; all kinds of folks there laughing, dancing talking and having a good time and all because of the amazing music we were hearing from the side of the lobby. We had just discovered what we think is the best smooth jazz we have ever heard in Charlotte. And the party and music they bring, brings everyone together! I’d never seen anything like it. It was beautiful.
I am no jazz expert by any means, we have been to festivals and places that play jazz from time to time but these guys blew me away. There were three of them and that jazz player! He had everyone in there happy and dancing. We asked who are these guys?? And they go by the name of 5th and York. They play there at the hotel on Saturday nights, only payment a two drink minimum. Trust me they are awesome! Even if jazz isn’t your go to, I promise you will have one of the best nights of your life. The best place to enjoy jazz for free in Charlotte, North Carolina IS 5th and York. This is based on my opinion (and many others:)
