The Most Hated Thing In North Carolina Is What??

I get it, you’re not supposed to hate. But we all do. Rival sports teams, certain foods, and more. In fact, people often bond over what they dislike. So much so that there is actually a dating app that takes “hates” into account when matching people. Maybe I should check this out? It’s called “Hater”. The app first launched in February 2017 so it’s been around a while. And it’s taken into account the different dislikes of each state and compiled the data. In doing so they determined the most hated thing in each state. And the most hated thing in North Carolina? Well, I can support it.

I can also see why you might be in favor of them too. South Carolina hates a certain person, which hadn’t crossed my mind in years. I won’t bore you with every state, if you’re interested you can see the full breakdown here. But I’ve included 15 of the most interesting or in some cases head scratching things states hate.   Georgia apparently really hates Tuna Salad. I mean I'm not a fan either.

• Washington- Keurig K-Cups

  In an area of the country known for it's local coffee, it's practically a sin to use K-cups.

• Nebraska- Friendly Reminder Emails

  There is nothing "Friendly" about friendly reminder emails. The real insult though "per our previous conversation".

• Kentucky- Friends That Ask You To Help Them Move

  If you're in college or your early 20s it's one thing. Your friends probably do want to help for pizza and beer. But if you know they can easily afford their own? Don't ask.

  Are these even really a thing anymore? I mean I get it, if I had been a teacher at the peak of this craze I'd probably hate them too. But as it stands I can't tell you the last time I thought of them.

• Virginia- Dabbing Pizza Grease With A Napkin

  There really isn't a great way to get grease off you pizza. Should you just eat it grease and all? Or Virginia is there a better way that we don't know about?

  He's definitely unlikeable, but top of mind? Honestly I had to Google search to even remember who he was.

  Even stone cold sober I want nothing to do with a DUI checkpoint. When I'm on my way home I do not want anything delaying me from getting there. These included.

• Missouri- People Who Believe In Aliens

  I mean I don't think it's completely crazy to think there is some form of life out there. But Aliens circling Earth is a flying saucer? I have my doubts.

  I've never seen an episode of Seinfeld so I can't completely comment on this one. But it's reminiscent of the people who make hating a celebrity their entire personality trait. No one cares that you don't like it.

  Bye Bye Bye Colorado. I'd sacrifice your ski resorts for an *NSYNC reunion tour.

• New York- Times Square

  Share

  A massive tourist hub, I can see why New York residents would hate Times Square. It's the epitome of tacky tourist.
