John Osborne and Wife Lucie Silvas Welcome Twins
John Osborne and his wife, Lucie Silvas, welcomed their twins, a boy, and a girl, late last night in Nashville. John posted the news to his Instagram just minutes ago (3/21). According to his post, Aurther was born at 1:43 am, weighing 3 lbs and 3 ounces. He measured 15 and a half inches. Maybelle was born at 1:44 am weighing 5 lbs 1-ounce sand and measuring 18 inches long.
He captioned both babies’ birth details, “Welcome to this crazy world, Arthur and Maybelle. It’s going to be a wild one. @luciesilvas – You’re a damn boss.”
Fans have already reacted to the news with one writing, “Yaaaaaaay!!!! Congratulations to you both!!” Another fan said, “Congratulations!!! This is awesome! Twins double trouble!!” One more fan commented, “Maybelle was my grandmother’s name– love this so much.”

As we reported this morning (3/20), the Grammy award-winning duo had to pull out of Nashville’s “Love Rising” benefit concert last night (3/20). John Osborne posted to Instagram that the reason why they had to bow out was that his wife Lucie would be giving birth to the couple’s twins “any second now.”
John posted to his socials, “Hey y’all… with deepest apologies; we will be unable to attend tonight’s Love Rising event at Bridgestone. Turns out my and Lucie’s twins, Maybelle and Arthur, have picked up the Osborne tradition of arriving unannounced and could be here any second now!”
He continued, “Lucie is a damn warrior and is currently holding down the fort from the hospital bed as I type this. To our dear friends that will be there tonight, on and offstage, show the world what our town is made of, and let’s fight to keep Nashville full of the love, light, and inclusivity that it is known for. That is the type of place we want to raise our children. Go get ’em. Love y’all.”
