People who are residents of Charlotte can hoist that bad boy to the curb starting January 1. If you have an artificial tree then that schedule is a little different. In Concord, just remember to stick to your schedule. Live Christmas trees are considered yard debris and will be collected on yard debris pickup day. Just remember to take off all lights and ornaments. There is always that one that wants to hide from you. Make sure they are all off.
If you live in Monroe, curbside pickup is also a breeze. Just remember to place the discarded trees 2 to 3 feet away from the carts. People who live in Catawba County have a couple of choices. Trees and other natural decorations will be collected on yard debris day or at the solid waste convenience centers. You have until January 18,2024 to take them there.
York County dwellers, take your tree to a York County Collection and Recycling Center. Again make sure all lights and ornaments have been removed. Place your tree in a cart there until January 31.
