Here are the best soup spots in North Carolina and South Carolina according to the experts. When you think of review experts, of course you know we mean Yelp. They scoured soup reviews from all over the country and found the top soup spots in all 50 states.
Soup is more than just food. It’s warmth and love. A delicious bowl of soup can help when you are sick in body or sick in heart. Because it just warps around you like a warm blanket. When we had a family tragedy last year, several people sent soup meals instead of flowers. It was welcome and appreciated.
Right here in the middle of soup season Yelp takes the guesswork out of where to go for the perfect bowl of soup. Maybe you don’t have time to chop all the ingredients and spices but you want that home made taste.
In North Carolina the best soup spot is in Raleigh. Because Yelp says one of the most well reviewed soups can be found at Bida Manda in the capitol city. They say the Pork Belly Soup is just marvelous there. And in South Carolina head to Folly Beach for the best soup. I was not expecting to head to the coast for best soup but there it is. They suggest Jack of Cups Saloon and a scrumptious helping of Pumpkin Curry soup. These are the best soup spots in North Carolina and South Carolina according to the experts.
I used to be in the rotation to bring lunch at my church and my go to was Pumpkin Soup. The recipe had only three ingredients: freshly chopped and pure’ed pumpkin, half and half and spices. Warm and enjoy. It was a hit every time. To learn more about the best soup spots in North Carolina, South Carolina and all over the country, get details here from Yelp.

January 2024 North Carolina Fast Food News
A new year brings new food. And in a time when a lot of people are focusing on health and working out, fast food places are ready to pull out all the stops to keep you coming back. And that is what they are doing in this iteration of January fast food news. This week brings announcements from a variety of fast-food restaurants. From burger spots to pizza to a new Texas Toast side. And of course some good deals.
I often have the intent to try new items but most of the time I never get around to it and then they are gone. But there are a few on this list that I may prioritize (or at least I’ll attempt to!) First up- McDonald’s Dessert. It’s the return of a favorite (and no not a milkshake or ice cream because well you know). It’s the Strawberry & Crème Pies. They are already available at some restaurants and will replace the Holiday Pie. Though they aren’t available at all restaurants. The pies are you guessed it, strawberry and vanilla-flavored creme pies coated in a sugar crust. You can check availability on the McDonald’s app.
Keep reading to see some of the other January fast food news for 2024! What new item are you most excited to try?
