Remembering Paul Walker
I can’t believe it’s almost been 5 years since that tragic afternoon in Los Angeles after Thanksgiving in 2013 when the world lost actor, Paul Walker. The cast and crew of the seventh entry of the “Fast and Furious” franchise were on a quick holiday break and only had a couple of weeks of filming left to do to make their Spring release date.
It would be more than a year before that movie was eventually finished.
What made his passing so poignant to me was how his friends and co-workers reacted. It wasn’t just a “thoughts and prayers with his family…” or “we all mourn his loss…” kind of reaction. No, it was as if they had all lost a cherished family member. Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson both took MONTHS before they could speak of him without tears.
Anyway, coming up a week from Saturday (August 11) on the Paramount Network is a brand new documentary about the life of Paul Walker from those that knew him best. From “Varsity Blues,” and “She’s All That,” to the “Fast…” franchise he was famous for, his career and more will be completely covered.
