Muffins Sold at Walmart, Sam’s Club Recalled Over Listeria Concerns
If you love a muffin for breakfast you’re going to need to be more careful. Muffins at several retailers are being recalled due to concerns of listeria. The prepackaged muffins from Give and Go were sold at Walmart, Stop & Shop, 7-Eleven, and Sam’s Club.
The muffins in question are blueberry, double chocolate, banana nut, and others. All other flavors from the company aren’t affected by the recall. Listeria infection can cause serious or fatal infections with symptoms such as fever, severe headache, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
Labels include the following for the muffin recall.
- Great Value
- Marketside
- Uncle Wally’s
- The Worthy Crumb Assorted Large
- The Worthy Crumb Oreo Three Pack
- Stop-N-Shop
- 7-Eleven Selects
- Freshness Guaranteed
