Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2 Will Premiere In Time For Halloween 2022
One of my favorite Halloween movies is also one of my favorites of all time: the 1993 classic Hocus Pocus. My generation has been waiting YEARS for a Hocus Pocus 2 movie to come out. And now, we can finally say 2022 is the YEAR! Variety says less than a week after Hocus Pocus star Bette Midler Tweeted “That’s A Wrap” on the production on Hocus Pocus 2, we have some more info on the release date of the film.
Adam Shankman, the movie’s producer has confirmed on his Instagram that the film will be released just in time for Halloween 2022. Adam Posted “SISTAAAAAHHHHSSS! Aaaaand that’s a WRAP!!! #hocuspocus2. . .Coming to you #halloween #2022 on @disneyplus”
The exact release date has not been released.
The film will pick up 29 years after the first film from 1993. This time, three young women unleash the fury of The Sanderson Sisters played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. The sisters are looking for revenge once they are brought back.
I really hope they bring back Thora Birch who plays Max’s little sister Dani in the original. Who do you hope comes back or makes an appearance? What movie are you looking forward to seeing this year besides Hocus Pocus 2?
