Holiday Events At The Union Exchange In Monroe North Carolina

If you’re looking for holiday events this season, The Union Exchange in Monroe, North Carolina offers a lot!  The spot is a charming family-run farm and artisan market on New Town Road.   So, once you put away the leftovers and shop til you drop, take a moment to gather your crew and visit this fun venue.  The Union Exchange welcomes you rain or shine to enjoy the warmth inside the historic Auction Barn, under the outside heated patio or by the cozy fire pit.  The artisan market is open Black Friday until 8 p.m. to shop for those uniquely crafted gifts.  That’s the kick off for a complete holiday season of fun at The Union Exchange with events through December 18.   Enjoy food trucks, music, hot chocolate and mulled wine.  There’s Santa visits on two weekends between December 9-18.  And, there’s no need for reservations and no entry fee.  They welcome pups  leashed and outside.  So, if Santa pops outdoors, you might grab a Santa pup pic.

Next, The Union Exchange hosts Small Business Saturday on November 26 this year.  Also, expect a visit from International Truck of Tacos and live music by Elonzo Wesley.  The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Then, make sure to return Sunday, November 27th for the BBQ Food Truck and  Holiday Season Kick-off.  This event starts at 10 a.m. Sunday with BBQ from Apostle ‘Que Food Truck.  Furthermore, Union Exchange plans games, a letters to Santa station, s’mores by the fire and shopping in the barn.  Sip on a variety of beer and wine, as well as an espresso coffee bar and ice cream from Waxhaw Creamery.  The food truck is on site from noon to 6 p.m.  So, keep checking their schedule  for all the holiday events at The Union Exchange.

16 Charlotte North Carolina Area Holiday Parades To Check Out In 2022

Halloween has come and gone which means it’s almost time for Christmas! I can already hear the chiming of the jingle bells and Mariah Carey belting ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. In fact, the Queen City Christmas events kick off the first week of November! We are starting quickly. And with so many different events from parades to festivals to concerts to shopping and lights, it can be overwhelming. But we are here to help you make plans to get everything done this holiday season. Let’s start it off with 16 Charlotte area holiday parades you can check out this year.

Who doesn’t love a good parade? Marching bands, performances, floats, candy, and tis’ the season for a visit from Santa as well! You can find all of that in more in the numerous Christmas/holiday parades throughout the region. In fact, you can probably make a couple if you’re a die-hard parade-aholic. While I’m not personally one I’ve worked with a few over the years! And it’s Christmas after all, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.
