Amazing Dog Sets World Record
If you were to ask my wife her honest assessment of the internet, it might sound something like this, “I’m here for the dog videos.” Yup, if you were wondering why there are SO MANY dog videos everywhere on the net, you can thank my wife and people of her ilk. I’m not making this up. We have about a forty-to-fifty-minute commute each way to work. She’s watching dog videos ninety percent of that time. And yes, she was more than excited when I was able to bring this one to her attention this morning.
A dog who has videos because he/she is “cute” is one thing. A dog who has videos because he/she is talented is another. However, if the pooch is cute AND talented? Which brings us to this. First off, who knew there was even a record for a dog jumping rope? Yeah, me neither. For your (and my) information, the new record is thirty-two times in a row. It is now held by this German canine, “Balu,” who jumped on his hind legs thirty-two times in a row assisted by his friend, Wolfgang. I would assume like most dogs he spends the majority of his life on all fours. I ONLY have hind legs. I couldn’t skip a rope thirty-two times in a row for a cash prize-whether I have a friend like Wolfgang helping me or not! Alos, there is a ZERO percent chance my wife would be captivated by a video of it. Probably more to do with the lack of cuteness and talent that anything else.
