Tequila Tasting At Myrtle Beach South Carolina Favorite Spot
I just saw that Saturday, November 5th, Roca Roja Cantina, a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina favorite, is hosting a tequila tasting at 6 p.m. Admission is $35 in advance or $45 at the door. With admission, customers will sample some of the finest tequilas along with finger foods. Plus, the upstairs is already decorated for Christmas! You can enjoy a Jazz band and festivities for the upcoming season. We’ve visited a bunch of restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area over the years. However, Roca Roja Cantina near North Myrtle Beach is one of our top picks for Mexican food.
We discovered Roca Roja Cantina on National Tequila Day. We visit the beach often. Therefore, we wanted something we never had before. Our online search pointed us to Roca Roja. They’re located on the Cherry Grove Marsh with a great view. The food was really fresh, unique and super yummy. Furthermore, their website dubs them “Home of the largest selection of Tequilas in South Carolina.” And, their lounge allows you to try them in a relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, the cocktail selections include bourbons and other spirits. But, our favorite drink there was the Cumcumber Jalapeno Martini. I love the spicy 21 seeds cucumber jalapeno infused tequila and the candied jalapeno garnish. Also, I highly recommend the Queso Ahumado appetizer. It’s a fired and charred smoked provolone cheese with pasilla chile and agave honey. Plus, they serve it in a skillet with a knife and fork. It’s delicious. Their salsas are amazing with the house made chips. And, we devoured some fajitas!
Roca Roja serves brunch on weekends and hosts happy hours Monday through Friday. They host different events throughout the year. So, don’t miss the tequila tasting at this Myrtle Beach favorite!
