Why You NEVER Propose At Sporting Events
Gentlemen, listen up…PLEASE. If we’ve told you once, we’ve told you a thousand times. When it comes to proposing marriage, you are only courting disaster if you “go big or go home.” The more that’s involved, the bigger the stage, the more can and will go wrong. As if you didn’t need another example to stress this point, we bring you this poor dude who decided, “You know what? I bet my girl would LOVE me to propose in front of a stadium full of people at a minor league baseball game.”
So, it all starts out okay. The between-inning events crew with the Brooklyn Cyclones appear to be all-in with this guy. They do a great job with the setup. It seems to her that they will be involved in some game or promotion, and she’s good with this. Then, my man gets down on one knee, and the fun begins. He doesn’t just get a “No,” he gets much worse. Read her lips. Epic fail. And check out the expressions on the team personnel. This whole debacle is a cautionary tale, boys. Don’t be this guy. Whatever she says, you want it to be where only you can see and hear her response. Trust us.
