New Trailer For “Yellowstone” Spinoff “1923”
I know it must feel like you can’t escape “Yellowstone” right now. And if you’re not a fan of the show, I get it. However, for those of us who are all-in on the Dutton family saga, too much is never enough. And admittedly, I’m new to the party. For years friends told me I needed to get into this show, and I just kept not having time. Then I started on my weight loss journey and was spending an hour every day on an elliptical machine. I can’t take looking at the numbers on one of these, and I hate watching gym TVs (never what I want to watch), so I began bingeing “Yellowstone” and the prequel mini-series, “1883,” this summer. As much as I love the main show (currently 3 weeks in to season 5), I REALLY got into “1883.” It’s the story of how the Duttons migrated from Tennessee to Montana and established their Yellowstone Ranch. Well, on December 18th, part two of the history of the Dutton clan comes to Paramount+ in the form of “1923.”
This mini-series moves the story along 50 years to the family dealing with post WW1, prohibition, the Depression, etc. And whereas “1883” featured the star power of Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliot, “1923” boasts a cast that includes lightweights like Harrison Ford and Dame Helen Mirren. Cannot wait for this to begin. I just hate that it will be released an episode at a time instead of all at once. This is the kind of thing I could REALLY get into on a cold, rainy day (or a week at the gym).
