Cheating Allegation Hits Miss Universe Pageant
A group of fans feels like the new owner of the Miss Universe pageant rigged this year’s pageant. Miss Texas R’Bonney Gabriel took home the crown this weekend, but fans say that new owner Anne Jakrajutatip, who also owns the Miss USA pageant, showed “favoritism” to this year’s winner.
The fans claim favoritism after pointing out that Gabriel’s difficulty walking during the show’s costume competition was a clear example. According to TMZ, Anne Jakrajtatip became the pageant’s owner last year and vowed to make the pageants “more inclusive.” She also has plans to include married women and mothers be part of the competition.
