Waffle Houses Ban TikTok Sandwich Hacks
TikTok stirs stuff up on the daily it seems. There’s viral kitchen hacks, recipes and dances. But, they’re also famous for publicizing quirky ways to order food at fast food restaurants in order to create new dishes without spending a fortune. It’s the keys to a secret menu so to speak. Typically, they encourage customers to ask for item combinations in certain ways that create a dish that doesn’t exist on the preset options. A recent hack going viral is the Wafffle House Sandwich. And now, according to Narcity USA, several Waffle Houses ban the TikTok hack. One TikTok user pointed out the location they visited had a sign banning the hack. It reads, “Order from the menu. We are not making anything you saw on TikTok.” Other notes shared on social media are similar. One says, “Read me! Order from the menu! We’re not making nothing you’ve seen on TikTok.”
Some users even point to the outrageous cost of following the trend. They indicate ordering the special sandwich ends up ringing up at $20. In case you wonder, the viral hack includes different meat patties, cheese, eggs and bacon inside two waffles. It’s not a secret we love Waffle House food. However, I never felt the need to create new menu items. And, I certainly would not do so at such a cost. Waffle House tends to be a fairly economical choice! Plus, I happen to think their menu holds up just fine on its own without help from TikTok. So, it’s no surprise to hear Waffle Houses ban the hack. I can imagine it creates a hassle for cooks and employees going off menu. I am happy to stick to the waffles and some lovely hash browns scattered, covered and smothered.
This The Most Popular TikTok Trend In North Carolina
If you’re anything like me you’ve spent plenty of hours sucked into watching TikTok. With the advent of 3-minute videos, just a quick couple of videos quickly adds up to a lot of time. Trends come and go on TikTok, and if you’re planning to make a video you better do it fast. But what are the most popular trends on TikTok these days? There is so much to watch from dances to songs, challenges, shopping lists, and more. But it seems like more than anything it’s the music that guides the platform. And TikTok certainly has a massive impact on songs and musical artists these days. Heck, I know every word to a portion of a song before I even know the name or artists behind it.
In order to determine the most popular TikTok song trend Coco & Eve compiled a list of trending songs and analyzed Google Search data to see where each ranked. The most popular song in the U.S. featured in numerous TikToks is Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill. The song regained popularity thanks to the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things. But while that was the country’s favorite song, it didn’t take the crown in North Carolina. Think you know what did? Keep reading to find out. I have to say I’m going with Virginia as the winner for the “best’ song choice. If you know, you know.
