Well Known Myrtle Beach South Carolina Milkshake Bar Sues Neighbor
One of the more outrageous places we visited in Myrtle Beach is The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, it takes everything you think you know about milkshakes and turns it upside down. Obviously, as the name implies, Crazy Mason serves up gigantic milkshakes in mason jars. For instance, I got one called “How It All Pecan.” It was a shake topped with a slice of pecan pie. Needless to say, it takes a group to finish one! Anyway, Crazy Mason operates at two locations in the Myrtle Beach area. And, at both locations, they are inside 810 Billiards & Bowling. According to WBTW, the well known Myrtle Beach milkshake bar is suing 810 Billiards & Bowling. A contract between the two businesses gives Crazy Mason permission to operate within the bowling alley. However, the lawsuit claims many things, including breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation and conspiracy. And, Crazy Mason wants a jury trial.
Furthermore, they have asked for a temporary restraining order against 810. And, the suit claims 810 intends to engage in competition and accuses them of contacting Crazy Mason’s vendors and more. As with many lawsuits, the claims and allegations tend to get a bit confusing for the layman. But, records indicate 810 Billiards & Bowling filed two “rule to vacate” documents following the filing. The well known Myrtle Beach milkshake bar currently operates at Market Common in Myrtle Beach and in North Myrtle on Hwy. 17 S. But, they are relocating from Market Common to the old Sticky Fingers building near Coastal Grand Mall in March. And, they have locations in four other states. Plus, they plan an 8th location in Charlotte, North Carolina.
