It is funny how random things can lead people to unexpected riches. Robin Hicks from Burlington, North Carolina tells the North Carolina Education Lottery officials that she was shopping at Kim’s Mart on Webb Avenue when she picked up some scratch offs.
She was at the store to purchase tomatoes and fajita mix when she bought the winning ticket. After taxes she took home $178,126. That will buy a lot of fajitas or just about anything else for that matter. Robin says she plans to use the money to pay off her bills and help her mom do the same.
