This South Carolina Event Venue Is Hosting A Prohibition Era Murder Mystery Dinner
I’m always on the lookout for unique events to attend with friends. And, I think this one definitely qualifies. A South Carolina event venue is hosting a murder mystery dinner. When I ran across this on social media I had to explore further. So, it turns out the venue is close by in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
According to their website, Enchanted Southern Events in Rock Hill began in 2020 by owner Megan who started planning events in 2005. And, they do everything from weddings to birthday parties, baby showers and more. In browsing their website, I found it to be absolutely beautiful.
And, I love the idea of the “murder mystery” event. I’m a bit of a true crime buff and a Dateline/Keith Morrison fan girl. Hey, I just bought a tee shirt with the legendary Dateline host’s face on it! So, solving riddles and puzzles in a playful, non-threatening setting really appeals to me. And, throw in food and drinks and you got me!
The description on Enchanted Southern Events site reads “during a night of Prohibition-era revelry, something goes terribly wrong.” The possibilities for costumes and interesting storylines seem endless! All the details about the event are on the website. But, just to get the ball rolling, I’ll tell you “Jazz Age Jeopardy” is slated for Saturday, June 17 at 6 p.m.
And, murder mystery ticket purchases include game entry, dinner, 2 alcoholic beverages (wine/beer) and dessert. Plus, there’s a discount code to use at checkout. So, read all about it on the website and channel your inner detective!
