Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools And The Panthers Adding Girls Flag Football To High Schools
Starting this spring girls in CMS will be able to play high school football. That’s right, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools is adding Girls Flag Football to it’s sports offerings. The announcement fittingly came on ‘National Girls and Women in Sports Day’.

And order to get the program going the Carolina Panthers are donating $50,000 to go to Nike uniforms for the teams, funding, and other needed school resources. The program will be considered ‘intermural or club level’.
