My Secret Celebrity Crush Has A New TV Series
The first New Year’s Day that we were parents, we got up early for a feeding for him. Then we had a feeding for us. Then we were stuck with a few hours to kill before the bowl games began. What to do? We cut on the television and started flipping through the endless channels with nothing on. And then we came across something that caught my attention. My dad had been telling me about this show about a college girl who was leading a double life as a secret agent. The show was “Alias.”
The Family Channel was running a marathon of the first twelve episodes that New Year’s Day. We started watching at 9am, and never saw any bowl game that day. A total binge. And we were hooked. And I became secretly in love with the show’s star, Jennifer Garner. Alas, the stars are not aligned for us. When she finally became available, divorcing Ben Affleck, Debbie and I are still contractually obligated to one another. <g>
Anyway, this hasn’t stopped me from being a huge fan of everything she does professionally. If you haven’t seen the movie, “Peppermint,” I highly recommend it. And now, she’s doing another action series. This time the show is going to air on Apple TV+. It’s called, “The Last Thing He Told Me.”
The show will begin streaming on April 14 and is based on the bestseller by Laura Dave. Garner plays a woman who must forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter to try to figure out what’s happened to her husband who has mysteriously disappeared. I’m all in.
These are the Most Popular Celebrity Crushes in North Carolina
Back in the day, you probably thought you were going to marry your celebrity crush. I always thought I and Leondardo DiCaprio were meant to be. It’s the stuff of romance movie dreams–a celebrity falling in love with a “normal” person, such as Matthew McConaughey or Kate Upton –so why not us?
In reality, these mesmerizing moguls rarely entertain love interests outside of their circle of fame. However, it never hurts to dream! This got the Shane Co. team thinking: which celebrities are the most popular among Americans? Is there different celebrity crushes in different states?
Over 130 male and female celebrities were analyzed by Shane Co. in order to identify the most popular dream celebrity crushes in every state. They used lists like People’s sexiest men alive, Trend Spotter’s hottest female celebrities, and others in order to compile the base of celebrities. From there, they turned to Google Trends data from March 2021 through March 2022 in order to determine which male and female celebrities each state is searching for the most. These are the results they found for North Carolina. We also included some additional state results as well.
