Y’all, this is one of my favorite things in the world. There’s nothing better than some delicious eats from a food truck. And, the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival happens this weekend in South Carolina. This year’s festival is presented by Wicked Weed Brewing, and it kicks off Friday at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place in downtown Myrtle Beach. There’s an extensive lineup of food trucks taking part in the festival. In fact, I did a quick count on the website and found more than 60! Some tempting treats include lobster, Caribbean Jerk cuisine, roasted corn, hot dogs, barbecue, cheesecake, smoothies and “boozepops.” Of course, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Festival sponsor, Wicked Weed, is there with plenty of beverages to wet your whistle. And, guests can browse multiple artisans and vendors. Plus, the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival has a lineup of live bands scheduled.
And, the location is super easy to find. It takes place at 812 N. Ocean Blvd. at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place. Parking is first come-first served with nearby meter parking and also in the Lanier parking garage near the festival site. Kick off day Friday starts at 5 p.m. And, Saturday and Sunday’s events take place starting at 11 a.m. The event takes place rain or shine with no refunds. And, single day tickets are available for $5.00. Children 12 and under get in for free. Take a look at the website for more information and a link to purchase tickets. But, bring your stretchy pants and get your eat on at the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival this weekend in South Carolina!

10 Free Things To Do In Myrtle Beach South Carolina
I love living in the Carolinas for a number of reasons. The people we’ve met in our time here are so wonderful. Plus, the area offers plenty of activities, restaurants and a family friendly atmosphere. And, it’s a quick easy drive to beautiful beaches. We went to Hilton Head a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it. And, recently we took a trip to Kiawah that was a lot of fun. However, our favorite spot to visit with friends is the Myrtle Beach area. I thought I’d assemble a list of 10 free things you can do in Myrtle Beach.
I like that we can get there from where we live in under three hours. We’ve been going there for years, and our son attends school in nearby Conway, South Carolina. So, if you’re planning a first time visit or even a return trip soon, you may be looking for ideas. After all, money is tight for everyone these days. And, who says a vacation needs to cost a fortune? That’s another reason we enjoy Myrtle Beach. It’s fairly economical if you do some planning. And, it’s another reason I put together this list of 10 free things to do in Myrtle Beach.
Many items on the list are free to adults and children alike. Some feature activities children can do for free with paid adults. And, I think all of them are budget friendly. This is by no means everything you’ll find at the beach. But, it’s a start to get you going. I hope you can find some things you enjoy in the 10 free things to do at the beach list!
