Husband Of Beauty Pageant Runner Up Goes Bonkers Smashes Crown
Of the many reasons I’m so thankful that my one child is a son is that there was never a chance I was going to have to become involved in the pageant world. OMG…the stories, right? Contestants back-stabbing one another. Judges being less than honorable or screwing up their job entirely. And then, there’s the parents. All it takes is episodes of the classic show “Toddlers and Tiaras,” and you know.
Who knew that HUSBANDS of contestants could be nightmares? This story is a huge wow as one such spouse absolutely lost it at a recent pageant and went on a post-crowning rampage.
So, here’s what happened. This was nothing you could have seen on TV (Miss America, Miss Universe, Miss USA, etc.). No, this was Brazil’s “Miss Gay Mato Grosso 2023” held on Saturday night. Emannuelly Belini, representing Várzea Grande, was being crowned as the winner when Nathally Becker’s (the pageant runner up) husband bum-rushed the stage and went bananas.
This video is INSANE. Hubby appears out of the clouds. He grabs the crown and then smashes it in the ground. The shock is palpable. Wait, he’s not done. Becker’s husband picks the crown up and smashes it again! He then grabs his wife and tries to walk off stage when security finally figures out it should do something and confronts the dude.
This whole incident is a total “wow.”
Do Not Travel: The United States Has Issued Travel Warnings For These 20+ Dangerous Countries In 2023
Looking to book a trip? Considering international travel? Seeing the world and other cultures can be a wonderous thing. But that doesn’t mean that every destination is the safest place to travel, especially at a specific time. The United States government wants to make sure all citizens are safe when traveling. One way they do this is by issuing travel advisories. These are ever-changing as conditions can change rapidly. The Department of States issues a Travel Advisory for each country in the world. These can be checked anytime at travel.state.gov. There have been numerous updates to the United States travel warnings since 2023 began.
But before we tell you about those let’s delve a little more into what these mean. There are four levels (one through four). One being “exercise normal precautions” and four being “do not travel”. Below you will find a list of all the level 3 and 4 countries that have been updated since 2023 began and their corresponding risk indicators. You can also view the ones that were previously updated. Want more info about a certain country or want to see the level for a country not mentioned? You can get all the current info on United States travel warnings here.
Also, note that Isreal and Mexico are not mentioned on this list and are categorized as “Level Other” with the advice being to avoid both places.
