Biscuitville Brings Their Nationally Recognized Scratch Made Biscuits To South Carolina
Who among us doesn’t appreciate a delicious, fluffy, scratch-made biscuit? If you don’t, it’s probably just because you haven’t tasted the right one yet. And, one of the best in the business is North Carolina born Biscuitville. That’s why I get excited when I learn that Biscuitville is bringing the chain to more spots in South Carolina.
Where The New Biscuitville Will Be
We were driving home to Indian Land, South Carolina yesterday when I noticed a billboard advertising the new location opening soon. So, I did some searching. I found that Biscuitville’s new location planning to open this summer is in Edgewater Commons at the corner of Fort Mill Highway 160 and Highway 521. That’s near the Lowe’s for those of you familiar with the area.
More South Carolina Biscuitville Locations
And, this isn’t the only South Carolina location for the nationally recognized scratch-made biscuit chain, Biscuitville. A Florence, South Carolina location recently opened. Plus, their website indicates Hartsville is “coming Summer 2023.” And, those familiar yellow rolling pin icons indicate we expect more spots to pop up in Greer, Duncan, Irmo and Columbia.
What Makes Their Biscuits Delicious
According to What Now Charlotte, Biscuitville , which USA Today recognizes among the best regional fast food restaurants, uses just three ingredients to make their biscuits. Those quite simply are locally milled flour, buttermilk and shortening. And, their eggs comes from North Carolina and Virginia farms. They have locations throughout North Carolina and Virginia, as well.
The Famous “Biscuit Window”
I remember visiting the Indian Trail, North Carolina location soon after they opened years ago. And, one of my favorite features of Biscuitville is the “biscuit window.” Similar to watching Krispy Kreme doughnuts ride through the glaze, Biscuitville customers get to watch bakers make fresh biscuits through the window every 15 minutes. Their site touts “home of the biscuit window since 1966.” It’s a beautiful thing to see!
So, I anxiously await Biscuitville bringing their delicious scratch made biscuits to more South Carolina locations! We’ll keep you updated on opening dates as they become available.
