North Carolina Based Krispy Kreme Brings Back Fan Favorite Doughnut
It’s been two long years. North Carolina based Krispy Kreme brings back a fan favorite doughnut. Sadly though this dream come true won’t last long.
The Charlotte, North Carolina based bakery announced the strawberry glazed doughnuts return Friday September 1. The return will be for participating Krispy Kreme’s across the country. A news release says the the seasonal treat was last offered in 2021 and will be available now through May4th.
I don’t know why Krispy Kreme holds back on us. I love this doughnut. When that hot and now light comes on, I am there for it. This is only the third time the limited edition doughnut has made it way back into the bakery case.
Chief Brand Office Dave Skena said in a statement that was published in the Charlotte Observer, “Our fans are always asking us to bring back Strawberry Glazed and it seems Labor Day Weekend – the unofficial end of summer – is the perfect opportunity to treat everyone”. Indeed sir indeed.
You can order them in-store and online for pickup or delivery according to a press release. Not sure how much they cost but who cares. I really love anything strawberry. Money is no object. Ha! I wish I could say that but seriously I am sure they are worth every penny. For more information get details from our source the Charlotte Observer right here.
