Lainey Wilson continues to live her best life as she sold out a show at Billy Bob’s in Texas over the weekend and got the chance to cement her hands at Billy Bob’s Walk Of Fame.
Lainey posted a video clip from the moment. She said in the video, “Tonight is a big night, ya’ll. We sold out Billy Bob’s, got my name on the wall, put my hands in concrete. It is a big, big night for us. I tell you what, we’re so dang excited, let’s party, come on.”
Wilson captioned the Instagram post, “In 2013, I sold merch for an artist at @billybobstexas, hoping one day I’d be on the stage of the world’s largest honky tonk. Ten years later, we did that and sold it out. Keep on dreamin’, folks.”
Many fans reacted to Lainey’s post, including one who wrote, “I went to this show for my bachelorette trip and had an absolute BLAST!!!!! You’re so amazing and have so much heart and soul!! LOVE YOU!! Keep on being you, @laineywilson.” Another fan commented, “Superstar baby.”
Wilson topped the 2023 CMA nominations last week (9/7), scoring nine nods in total, including the top nomination of Entertainer of the Year. She is nominated in the latter category against Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, and Chris Stapleton.
Wilson posted to her fans on Instagram. She wrote, “Holy moly, y’all. Someone pinch me. I can’t believe my eyes. I’m so proud of everything we’ve done this year for my own music and these collabs with my brothers @hardy and @jellyroll615. Thank y’all for having me on these songs.”
She continued, “Being nominated in each of these categories amongst my friends means the world to me. And the coveted Entertainer Of The Year category?! It’s absolutely surreal. We bust our butts out there on the road every dang night to give y’all the best show possible, and I have the time of my life doing it.”
Lainey closed with, “All I gotta say is thank y’all. I love country music.”
