Obeying ‘Signs’ Doesn’t Lead To Powerball Success After All
If I’ve done one winning lottery story, I’ve done a hundred that go something like this. “I was just standing in line getting my sandwich and something told me, ‘buy a lottery ticket.'” So, I did and now I’m a millionaire. In fact, I’ve written so many of these that I’ve made a silent promise to myself to be uber aware of subliminal signs in my life that lead me to play the lottery. After all, if it works for other people, why not me?
Which leads me to yesterday. I hadn’t logged on to Facebook in a day or so and was greeted by one of those “OMG” algorithm things: “Something is missing in your life, what is it?” I don’t do these things very often, but I was curious as to what Facebook had determined was lacking in my existence. Here’s what I received.
My first reaction? Well, NO DUH! Tell me something I and my creditors DON’T KNOW! Then it hit me. Wait, this is a sign. The Powerball jackpot is worth more than $600 million tonight. Someone somewhere is telling me, “This is your chance. Your window of opportunity to fortune and glory is being opened just for you to climb through. So, what are you waiting on, DO IT!”
Remember, I’ve got this new promise to listen and be aware of things like this. My next move?
I just knew when I woke up this morning, instead of writing this blog, I would be writing an amazing retirement speech to be recited later today on the radio. I know you’re waiting, wanting to know, “Well, was it a sign? Are you rich beyond your wildest dreams?
I’ll answer those with one sentence. Saturday’s Powerball drawing is worth an estimated $725 million.
