800 Wines Plus Cocktails And Beers On Tap At Popular Wine Bar Expanding In North Carolina
Ok, you had me at ‘800 wines.’ And, that’s what you find at the popular wine bar expanding in North Carolina. Of course, I’m referring to Tap & Vine. It’s a hot spot you might already know from their 2 other locations in the Charlotte area. But now, get ready for a third location of Tap & Vine coming to South Charlotte, according to Charlotte Business Journal.
And, I’m well acquainted with the man behind Tap & Vine. Most folks know Joe Maus from his ownership in multiple car dealerships. However, several years ago he branched out and started a high end wine bar in Indian Trail near Sun Valley. And later, he opened a second location in the Stonecrest Shopping Center in Charlotte near I-485.
Joe and I worked together promoting his auto group for years. And, I visited both locations of Tap & Vine. So, I’m excited to learn he now takes over a spot in Quail Corners. The Park Road spot that Tap & Vine is going into once housed Harry’s Tavern. And, it seems like a really good fit for the shopping center.
Tap & Vine strikes that perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. It’s a nice place for a special occasion or a spur of the moment weeknight out. A couple of years ago, we celebrated New Year’s at Tap & Vine. The carefully selected wines, cocktails and food brings folks in. Plus, live music Wednesdays through Sundays keeps the atmosphere festive. And, you can also expect delicious brunch.
And, on the menu at other Tap & Vine locations I thoroughly enjoy starters like the Dip Trio with Pimento Cheese, Buffalo Chicken, Hummus, Spinach Artichoke and Guacamole to choose from. Also, the Truffle Fries are to die for. We ordered multiple Truffle Fries for our table! Also, expect other yummy treats from Lobster Bisque to gourmet burgers and sandwiches, seafood, steak, pasta and more!
So, look for the newest location of Tap & Vine to open in Quail Corners December 28. For more on the popular wine bar expanding in North Carolina, read the full story from Charlotte Business Journal.
