Charlotte Restaurant Week 2024 Is On The Way With Exciting Choices For North Carolina Diners
I guess I’m what many refer to as a “foodie.” I’m not sure of the strict definition of that term. But, in my case it just means I think about cooking, finding and trying new restaurants and food exploration a lot. So, Charlotte Restaurant Week is something I look forward to every year. And, Charlotte Restaurant Week 2024 is on the way January 19-28 with so many exciting choices for North Carolina diners.
Also, I think Charlotte Restaurant Week is an excellent opportunity to try new restaurants. Restaurants taking part in the weeklong celebration of food offer three course fixed price menus. And, the prices range from $30 to $50 per person, depending on the restaurant. So, if there’s a spot you’ve been wanting to try it’s a good way to get a taste of their style without dropping a ton of money. And, it’s my experience that during that week, especially, everyone brings their ‘A’ game.
However, it does take a little planning on the customer’s part. But, it’s simple. Just visit the website to find which spots near you are taking part. And, decide where you want to go. Then, make a reservation. And, the participating restaurants are plentiful from Ballantyne to Belmont and Gastonia to Concord and Huntersville. And, there’s even some spots in South Carolina in the Fort Mill, Rock Hill and York County area. So, I thought I might highlight a couple of positive experiences I had with past Charlotte Restaurant Week visits.
Juniper Grill, Ballantyne Charlotte Restaurant Week 2024
We stumbled onto this gem last year during Restaurant Week. It’s located on John J Delaney Dr. near I-485 in Ballantyne. Juniper Grill’s Restaurant Week offering is $35. And, guests choose from a first course of either Rotisserie Chicken Tortilla Soup or Juniper House Starter Salad. The second course allows a choice of Duroc Pork Chop, Smokehouse Platter, Chicken Enchiladas, Wood Grilled Salmon, Grilled Fish Tacos, Rotisserie Chicken & Avocado Salad or Vegetable Enchiladas. And, for dessert Brownie Sundae or Signature Cornbread Dessert. I had the Cornbread Dessert. And, it changed my life! I also chose the salad and the pork chop. It was fantastic. And, we have since returned many times.
37Sol Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar
This ‘Tex Mex’ spot off 485 on Outlets Boulevard was another spot we loved during Charlotte Restaurant Week a couple of years ago. Their price is $35 per person as well. And, they offer a Margarita course with a choice of the Strawberry option or the Jalapeno Cucumber. I chose the latter. And, it was amazing. For their appetizer guests choose the queso blanco and choice of salsa with chips or Mexican Street Corn Soup or Grilled Romaine Salad. The soup was awesome. Their entree selections include options of Tequila Braised Beef Enchiladas, Margarita Shrimp Tacos, Red Chile Pork Quesadilla or SOL Chicken & Rice Bowl. Finally, dessert is a choice between Ancho Chocolate Brownie or Caramel Apple Empanada.
Enjoy your culinary experience during Charlotte Restaurant Week 2024.
