Hannah Jones is a senior economic research analyst for realtor.com. She says, The third week of April brings the best combination of housing market factors for sellers. “The best week offers higher buyer demand, lower competition [from other sellers], and fewer price reductions than the typical week of the year.”
So, what is so special about the third weekend of April? Well, according to our source, realtor.com median home prices are up about 1.1% higher than the average week. And this is a great point. Homes also cost over 10% more than earlier in the year. Great for the seller!

More buyers typically see homes the week of April 14 according to realtor.com. And this is amazing. And these are not just window shoppers. Data shows homes usually sell in nine days or less or about 17% faster than an average week.

What Homes $1 Million Will Get You In The Charlotte Real Estate Market
The home search in Charlotte is crazy. If you are looking to sell you are going to receive top dollar, but if you're looking to buy you're going to have a hefty price tag. In fact, I'm most likely going to re-sign my apartment lease in hopes that things calm down! But it's interesting to see just how far your dollar will go when it comes to real estate. So, I did a quick search on Realtor.com to see what homes $1 Million would get you in the Charlotte Market. Do I have $1 million to spend? Absolutely not, but it's fun to look and dream.
There are many homes priced well above that $1 million price tag, but for this list, I set that as my limit. Prices range from $975,000 to $1 million. But how much does that get you? It can get you as much as 5 acres or a waterfront lot. Most homes have around 4 bedrooms and 3.5-4.5 baths. You've got homes in the Ballantyne area as well as Myers Park or South Park. So a decent-sized house in a nice neighborhood.
