Renown NYC Bartenders To Takeover Charlotte (For 2 Nights)
I remember the summer of 1988, I (and the rest of the world became fascinated and enamored by the world inhabited by New York City bartenders. The reason? Tom Cruise’s “Cocktail.”
Seriously, who didn’t want to be those guys? Who didn’t want to see these guys do their thing? Now, you can. For two nights next week The Dilworth Tasting Room will be hosting two of the best in the business from NYC’s renown “Employees Only” hotspot.
Who Are These New York City Bartenders?
Franky Maldonado and Bojan (Boki) Milosevicto are two of Employees Only’s finest mixologists and former co-workers of Dilworth Tasting Room’s own Jose Ibanez. These three will be reuniting to produce pure cocktail magic.
When Will These New York City Bartenders Be Taking Over?
The takeover of The Dilworth Tasting Room and DTR SouthPark will run over two nights (May 8 and May 9) from 6-10pm. DTR SouthPark will be first up, followed the next night at the Dilworth locale.
What Will These New York City Bartenders Be Mixing Up?
Five of Employees Only’s signature drinks will be shaken and stirred to perfection when Maldonado and Milosevicto come to town. According to The Charlotte Observer, these will include The Amelia, the Yankee Notion and the Besos Caliente take standard cocktails to chemistry class. There will also be a handful of classic cocktails with an Employees Only twist, like the Employees Only Manhattan with Italian Vermouth and an orange liquor.
It’s not just the bartenders that will be visiting Dilworth Tasting Room’s locations. You can expect these two of New York’s finest to bring with them signature and premium spirits, syrups, and cordials to tempt Charlotte’s bar patrons to take a walk on the Big Apple wild side.
No doubt this will serve as promotion for the Dilworth Tasting Room as the brand is set to expand soon with a new location opening up in Plaza Midwood.
